The Library.
v To the Editor of the Times.) . g IK( —The annual meeting of subscribers ' to the Gisborne Library takes place on Mondav night, I suggest, with a view of malting the institute more popular, that the annual subscription be reduced to 10s and quarterly to 3s. At present there is too great a difference between the yearly and quarterly subscriptions.. The committee will propose at the meeting to build a ladies’ room. Does the number of ladv subscribers justify the expenditure ? Ido not think so.—l am, etc., An Old Subscriber.
