FARMERS’ UNION.
By Telegraph —Press Association. Palmerston North, last night. At the New Zealand Farmers’ Union Conference to-day a resolution was carried that party politics should not be recognised by the Union. The secretary repoi'ted that the membership in Wellington province totalled 1750. Mr J. G. Wiison, of Rangitikei, was elected President, and Mr Y. C. Ransom, of Piongotea, vicepresident. An Executive Committee comprising delegates from Marton, Wairarapa, Horowhenua, Hunterville, Hawke’s. Bay, Wanganui, and Wavcrley was appointed. The President was appointed a representative at the North Island Conference,
