GRAND OPERA.
(Special to Times.) Auckland, last night. During an interval in the performance of Musgrove’s Grand Opera Company here last night, Mr Musgrovc stated that on leaving Sydney it had been freely foretold that they would lose money heavily in bringing so large a company to New Zealand in midwinter. Ho could only thank Auckland for the truly splendid suppoj:', and say that if the Southrespondc tj anything like as generously the management would have no reason to regret its venture, and would be encouraged to a similar enterprise in the future,
