Dairy Industry.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Palmerston North, last night. At tho meeting of the combined Conference of the National Dairy Association and Cheese and Butter Makers’ Association held this morning, Mr Ilinselia, the Dairy Commissioner, made favorable reference to the butter and cheese exhibits at the Dairy Exhibition, especially the keeping qualities of the butter and cheese. It was described as a very creditable exhibition. Papers on “ Pasteurisation,” “ Cheddar Cheese,” and “ Cleanliness in Factories ” were read by members of the ordinary staff, and on “ The Labor Aspect as relating to tho Dairy Industry in New Zealand” by Mr N. Wright, of Normanby.
