Legislative Council.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Young Persons’ Protection Bill passed its first stages by 20 to 11. The School Attendance Bill and Cemetery Trustees Validation Bill passed through Committee without material amendment. The Accidents Compensation Bill was read a third time, and passed.
