ALLEGED MURDER.

JESSICA MINNS RELEASED,

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, last night. The charge of murder against Jessica Minns came to an abrupt conclusion at the Police Court to-day. Mr Hutchison, S.M., held that the girl’s depositions at the inquest on the Grand Hotel fire were not admissable as evidence, and must therefore be rejected. The Crown had no further evidence to offer, and tho case was accordingly dismissed.
