AN INDIGNANT BOARD.
WANTS TO DISMISS THE IN- • SPECTOR. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. A long discussion took place at the meeting of the Education Board to-day with regard to certain statements criticising tho action of the Board making appointments of teachers, made before the Salaries Commission, and on reports by Mr Lee, tho Board s Chief Inspector. After a motion giving Mr Lee notice had been withdrawn, it was decided that a full enquiry should be held into Mr Lee’s charges, and that tho proceedings be open to the Press.
