At the Police Court to-day Arthur Wellesley Nelson and Thomas John Whiteman were committed for trial for attempting to commit an illegal operation. Bail was allowed. Lachlan Campbell, with a number of aliases, was committed for trial for the theft of a watch. The weather was line to-day, and the snow has almost disappeared.
