FURTHER DECLINE IN PRICE OF WOOL. By Telegraph. Press Association. Copyright London, July -- The fourth series of colonial wool sales has opened. Competition is dull. Prices show a decline of from 5 to 10 per cent, compared with the closing sales of last series. The stock of tallow is 16,070 casks; the imports have been 7 108, and deliveries 7087 casks. Wheat : Two Victorian cargoes and ono Adelaide sold at ‘2Bs 3d. BIG DROP IN CROSSBREDS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, July 6. At the wool sales, Bahnc Company, Buxton and Ronald, and Jaeonib and Son offered 13,012 bales of inferior selection, especially crossbreds, chiefly faulty and shabby sorts. There was a full attendance, but poor competition. Compared with the closing rates of the May series, the prices for lino merinos were unchanged ; faulties were 5 to 71 por cent, lower.
