ODDFELLOWS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. At the Oddfellows’ Conference it was • resolved that the first meeting of tho triennial movablo committco be held in Wellington, on April 17th, and provisional committee of five was set up to draft rules for submission to a mooting. Tho representation for each district at the first meeting of the committco will be ono delegate for 500 members, and ono delegate for each additional 500. LAND BOARD. At a meeting of the Wellington Land Board to-day the rangers forwarded reports on ninety-four holdings, nearly all improved farm settlements. All selectors were found to be in residence, and their improvements up to date. CONCILIATION. At the Conciliation Board to-day tho parties to the printers’ machinist disputo agreed that the wages of apprentices be 7s 6d per week for the first six months, with six-monthly increases of 2s 6d per week during the period of apprenticeship. It was also agreed to give preference cf cmployment to unionists. TECHNICAL SCHOOL. A return of the annual cost of the Wellington technical school was laid bo. fore the Teachers Salaries’ Commitsion to-day. This showed that last year tho, expenditure on tho general account was £1627, the total for ten years being £9586, while on the buildings £4638 was spent. Fees received during the ten years totalled £8676, and Government subsidy amounted to £2395.
