A WORKER’S COMPLAINT.

(To tho Editor of the Times.)

Sir, —I'must rise in protest against the attitude of Mr Frank Harris in regard to borough rating. Why should people who have made a comfortable home for themselves bo harasssed by threats of increased rates ? I would not caro to part with my home at doublo its market value. Yet men who take a superficial view, like MiFrank Harris, would perhaps say that I ought to be rated accordingly. It seems to mo that it is quite bad enough to have a threepenny extra rate put on for the benefit of tho lower end of the town, without having men running round trying to get the rates increased. —I am, etc., Worker.
