The half-yearly summoned meeting of the above Lodge was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall last evening, when a large amount of business was transacted. The attendance was not quite up to the usual, many being away at the Royal gatherings. The following officers were appointed to the various chairs :—Bro B. Quigley, G.M.; Bro. B. Cox, N.G.; Bro. H. Humphreys, V.G.; Bro. F. Cox, B.S. ; Bro. P. Schwabe, 8.5.; Bro. A. Kirk, L.S.; Bro. G. Goldsmith, 8.5.; Bro. A. Thomson, L.S. Contributions amounting to .-6105 were taken during the evening. The Secretary reported good progress with the earning power of the Lodge, all the interest being promptly paid. "The funds of the Lodge amount to ,63000. It was decided to hold the anniversary social early in August, a strong Committee being appointed to make arrangements, consisting of Bros. C. Adair, B. Quigley, IV. J.
