Mr W. A. Barton, S.M., has returned from the Coast after a rough trip, and presided at tho Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

\ Mr B. Iveesing, of the Auckland firm of Messrs Hayman and Co., is at present visiting Gisborne. Trooper W. Parker, of Gisborne, has forwarded to his friends in Gisborne a copy of “ The Gulf of Taranto ” budget, which contains an interesting account of tho Seventh Contingent and of the voyage to Albany. Mr Cecil Sargisson, of the Bank of New South Wales, dislocated his wrist whilst playing football on Saturday last. Mr lan Simson returned from his tour of the Coast last evening.
