PUNISHMENT FOR ROUGH PLAY. By Telegraph—Pre3s Association. Auckland, last night. The Management Committee of the Rugby Union suspended for the rest of the season Taylor, of the Suburbs, and Fulljames, of the North Shore, for rough play. Another was cautioned. A spectator was warned off the ground. It was decided to consult unions as to dates of representative matches: Wellington, September 14th ; Taranaki, 18th or 19th ; Thames, August 24th ; Poverty Bay, August 31st.
