FIXTURES ADVISED,

The Uni6n Steamship Co. are in receipt of a cable from Calcutta advising tho Js.s. Obra is on the berth for New Zealand, to sail July 15th, and the s.s. Ikhona will follow on the tho 3rd August. Tho rate of freight on juto goods to Gisborne is 42s fid per ton. importers will therefore do well to communicate early with Messrs McKinnon, Mackenzie and Co., tho Calcutta agents, to reserve space for their shipments. There will also bo two moro steamers in November and December. The former will be a British India Company’s steamor, and the latter the Union Company’s s.s. Wangapae.
