DAYLIGHT ROBBERY.

VALUABLES TAKEN TfROM MR GOOD’S SHOP.'

Yesterday morning a parcel containing six gold rings and a sovereign caso was taken from the shop of Mr W. Good, jeweller, in byoad daylight, while tho shop was open for business.

The young lady in the shop believed she saw a man pick up the parcel while ho was in the shop on other business, but she did not think anything of the matter until it was found that tho valuable property was missing. A man who had been in the shop was aftewards interviewed. He denied any knowledge of the matter, and allowed himself to be searched.

The articles were missed when preparations were being made to close the shop for the half-holiday.
