SUPREME COURT

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, last night.

The Supreme Court opened here this morning, the Chief Justice presiding. For breaking and entering Francis Hay Wood was sentenced to two years. For theft from a dwelling W. J. Hogan was sentenced to one year. For theft from a railway carriage a porter was admitted to probation for one year, as was McHugh for forgery. Hake Timoti was found guilty of.theft and sentence deferred.
