SUCCESSFULLY FLOATED.

The tenders for the Government loan of half a million, at three per cent., with the minimum fixed at ninety-six, were opened to-day; L-549,000 was tendered. The tenders ranging from L 96 Is to L 97 Ss, amounting to forty per cent, were accepted ; the balance was taken at L 96 Is.
