COOKS AND WAITERS.
WAGES FIXED BY CONCILIATION BOARD.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. Tho Board of Conciliation, in the Cooks’ and Waiters’ disputes, fixes tho wages of the chief cooks at the hotels from £2, where one only is employed, to <£s per week whero there are fivo or more hands employed. The waiters’ pay is to range from £2 to £1 ss.
The hours of waiters are to be eloven per day, and of cooks eleven, each employee to receive seven consecutive holidays in each year.
