THE DREDGING SLUMP
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Dunedin, last night. At a meeting of the shareholders of the Golden Grey Dredging Company a resolution was passed to go into voluntary liquidation. A strong protest was made oh behalf of W. 11. Coy, one of the original vendors, with a demand that vendors' shares should be issued.
At a meeting of shareholders of the Rose Flat Dredging Company (West Coast) it was resolved, as a result of the report of Mr J. P. Smith as to the limited area of rich ground, to go into voluntary liquidation. When the directors informed the-vendors that they had determined to recommend the abandonment of the claim they agreed to waive their right as paidup shareholders.
