Kinematograph Views.

Auckland, last night, The Mayor of Auckland has cabled to the Governor, strongly urging that “ King ” Mahuta be allowed to present an address of welcome to the Duke of Cornwall at Auckland. It is expected that at least thirty large' ’tribes will be represented at Rotorua during the Royal visit. Active preparations are in progress at Rotorua for the reception of the Royal party. Mayor Perry, who is now hore, is under contract with the Government to kinematograph ihe Royal reception throughout the colony 7. All the Maori functions will be taken with great completeness. The machinery to be used is of the latest pattern, and can be operated for 35 minutes continuously, 1250 feet of film being used without stoppage. The reception at Auckland wharf will be taken, the arrival at Government House gates, the presentation of war medals, and the reception at other places in the colony. The views will be duplicated, one set being exhibited and fhe other retained by the Government.
