PRINCE OF GREATER BRITAIN, London, April 13.
It has boon repeatedly asserted on tho best authority that there was a strong movemeut on hand to induco the King to confer some Australian title on the Duke of Cornwall and York in commemoration of his tour. It has been pointed out that any such distinction would bo inevitably l-egarded with loyal jealousy by Canada and other colonies. There aro excellent reasons for believing that his Majesty is inclined to commomorate the travels of his son and heir by giving him . the title of Prince of Greater Britain. It seems, to those who have been questioned on the subject, that the designation is in every way appropriate, and would meet the inclinations of the whole of the British Empire beyond the seas. Prince of Greater Britain is even better in sound than Prince of Wales.
