FALSE BY ALLEGES THAT lIE MURDERED HIS FATHER.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, last night. A young man created some sensation at tlio Central Police Station to-night by strolling in and calmly announcing that lie had murdered his father. He told a long circumstantial story of the alleged crime, and was detained while detectives hurried off to the scene. It was found, however, that the man's intellect was deranged, and that there was no truth in his statements. The police kept him in custody as a lunatic.
