Basil has declined a halfpenny. Frozen meat: Crossbreds, wethers, and maiden ewes, Canterbury, are at 3:]d ; Dunedin and Southland, 3Jd ; North Island, 2 7-Bd. Lamb, prime Canterbury, 5/ f d; fair average, including Dunedin, Southland, and Wellington, and secondary Canterbury 4,1 d. New Zealand beef, 180 to 2201b5, fair average quality: ox fores, 3d, hinds 3}d. Biverplate crossbreds or merino wethers, heavy 29-16 d, light 2Jd.
