DETECTIVE AFTER CLUES. - By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, last night. Detective McLean, of Sydney, who worked up the evidence in the Taluno poisoning case, is at present in Dunedin. - A GOOD ADVERTISEMENT. The Alliance and Victoria Insurance Companies to-day paid to the directors of the Bruce Woollen Company .622,072, insurance on the mills destroyed, after deducting the value of the salvage. The total insurance was 424,800.
