ELECTEICAL TEAMWAY EXPEET.
(By Telegraph —Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The City Council, on the recommendation of the Tramways Committee, has resolved to invite applications from America and England and in the colonies-for the position of electrical tramway expert. If it'is found that a qualified expert can be found in’ the’ 'colonies, arrangements for the selection of "one abroad willbe cancelled. Itr was' also decided to prepare a bill for submission, to next session of Parliament, providing that if the ratepayers purchase Miramar Estate it shall immediately become part o£ the city.
