The National Council of Women of New Zealand discussed at their third day’s sitting the subjects of technical education and kindergartens, a paper on the former being read by Mrs Blake, and one on the latter by Mrs Bcndely (road by Mrs Sievwright). On the motion of Mrs Blake, the Council resolved that in its opinion the kindergarten system should bo introduced throughout the colony. Later. —At to-night’ssession of the National Council of Women an interesting paper on “ The influence of literature on the education of the face ” was read by Mrs Wells, of Christchurch. Mrs Bracker, associate of the Sanitary Institute, London, gave a most instructive address on Sanitary Homes.
