INCREASE OF HOTELS.
To the Editor of the Times. S IK ,—Many of your correspondents have ventilated the above subject, and one has gone so far as to ask for a licensed house across the river. I do nqt want such a house there, but I would suggest that the new Road Board carefully watch this matter, and if a new license is granted anywhere demand that AVhataupoko should share in the revenue obtained therefrom. Why should tho Borough have a monopoly of such proceeds? —I aw, etc,, W*
