RUGBY UNION.
By Telegraph—Press Association. ’Wellington, last night. The New Zealand Bugby Union met to-night, all the affiliated Unions being represented, except Canterbury. MrG. F. Campbell, in taking the chair, made reference to the coming visit to New Zealand of the New Srnth Wales team. He said it.should be borne in mind that the team was eoin'ng to the New Zealand Union, imd not to provincial bodies. His Excellency the Governor was elected Patron, and Mr A. F. Hawke, of Southland, President. A long discussion took place on the constitution of the Appeal Committee. It was eventually decided, on the motion of the Auckland delegate, that the Committee be located in Wellington. The Committee is to be elected by the Management Committee of the New Zealand Union. The latter Committee was instructed 'to Hose arrangements at the earliest possible moment for the visit of the New South Wales team; also to arrange to hold a Conference of Pieferees in 'Wellington on as early a date as possible. It was decided to call the attention of the affiliated Unions to the provisions necessitating the forwarding to the New Zealand body of all disqualifications made.
