JOHNSTON DEMANDED TO AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, April 25. Henry Johnston lias been remanded to Auckland, under escort of Detective Moll veny, on a charge of obtaining £SOO from the Kauri Timber Company with intent to defraud." In reply to Johnston, Detective Jones said that, when he arrested the accused, he found on him return railway tickets between Sydney' and Melbourne, a return steamer ticket for New Zealand, and a letter of credit for £2OO.
