POLICE COURT.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Invercargill, last night. At the Police Court A. T. Eocltserow, a young man charged with breaking, entering, stealing and arson at Mataura, put in a written admission of guilty on all counts, and was remanded for sentence .to the Supreme Court. The man seems to have a mania for fire-arms, his place of abode being like an armoury, while a Remington rifle and cartridges were part of the plunder in the 'present case. 'He is said to belong to a respectable family in the North Island.

A young man has been remanded to Wyndham on a charge under thp Females Protection law, arising put of the discovery of the body of an infant at Wyndham, the mother of which is supposed to bo a girl under 14 years.
