Commandant Grobelaar, with eight hundred men, tried to get north between Vryhcid and Zululnnd, and was stopped by troops from Vryhcid. Colonel Alderson, at Sohelpor’s Nek, blocked the way between Vryhcid and Dundee. The commando has boon split up into small parties, and 120 surrendered in Zululand. The Cape Government have warned colonists that after April 12tli all acts of rebellion against the Crown will bo punishable under tho old common law, which provides penalties of death, imprisonment, and fine according to the offence. . (Received April 10, 4.88 p.m.) The Boors evacuated Pietersburg tho night before Colonel Plumor's arrival. They exploded two trucks full of ammunition. Two ongiues and 39 trucks were captured. Lieut. Walker and one private were killed, and Lieut. Sale was severely wounded, all being Australian Bushmen- - : .

London, April 10. Colonel Plumcr, at Pietersburg, capturod 60 prisoners, and a 7-pounder pun. He destroyed “210,000 rounds of small urCI and 1000 rounds of big gun ammunition, and a considerable quantity of powder and dynamite. Eight Australian Buslnncn expelled 40 burghers from the Iron Pass, at Hust, capturing the key to Pietersburg. Two Bushmen were wounded. Colonel Plumsr commended the little party for their gallantry.
