GOOD COMPETITION. Per Press Association—Copyright. Christchurch, last night. Entries for the League of New Zealand Wheelmen’s Championship Meeting are more satisfactory than was anticipated. The cash championships have filled out moderately, G. Sutherland and A. R. Barker (Christchurch), E. Connell (Temuka), A. Huston and H. Holland (Ashburton), and W. Clarkson (Palmerston North) being entrants. For the amateur championships, which promise to provide keenest competition, the entries including W. Turnbull and E. B. Kershaw (NewSouth Wales), W. Reyuolds and E. B. Cucksey (Auckland), H. Amos (Timaru), T. AVhitfield, D. Rodger, and T.‘ Oates (Christchurch).
