SUDDEN DEATH.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. Mr J. Garsed dropped dead in the study of the Presbyterian Manse. Ho was delivering fruit at the Manse, and was getting payment for the fruit when he fell down in a fit. He took fits about twice a day. He was 66 years of age, and unmarried. He was a cousin of Mr Percy Smith, ex-Surveyor-General.
