STOCK SALES.
Messrs AVilliams and Kettle and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company hold their monthly stock sales at the Matawhero yards on Thursday, April 4th. Messrs AVilliams and Kettle's entry comprises over three thousand sheep, including a good lino of 1000 fresh fullmouth ewes, 500 lambs, and several fine lots of wethers, Another entry likely to attract considerable attention is 100 head of cattle of good quality. Mr A. F. Kennedy will conduct the sale on behalf of Messrs AVilliams and Kettle. The firm request all vendors to have sheep yarded in good time, so as to give purchasers sufficient time to inspect them before the sale commences. As all owners having sheep undipped at the end of this month are liable to a fine, they would remind auyono intending to havo sheep at the sale to have same dipped beforehand, so as to run no risk.
Messrs Common, Shelton and Co., and AVyllic and Alason hold a sale of stock at the AVaerenga-a-hika yards on Thursday, April 11th, when a good yarding of sheep and cattle is expected.
