Dunedin, last night. The D.J.C. Committee decided to-night, after hearing the ovidonce of Crossan, the owner of St Denis, and witnesses, to take no further action in connection with the matter of the stakes in the Farewell Handicap, which were awarded to the owner of St Denis, and the totalisator money locked up is to bo paid to-morrow to the holders of tickets on that horse.

TOKOMARU JOCKEY CLUB, Tokomaru, last night. The first meeting held under tho auspices of the above Club, took place at Tokomaru to-day. There was a large attendance of visitors, all parts of the East Coast being represented. There were largo fields in each event, and some interesting racing was witnessed. The following were the results : Maiden Plate. —Rena 1, Tawai 2. AVon comfortably. Flying Handicap.—Rena 1, AVilson 2. A good race. AVon by a length. Scurry.—lranuil, LVaitai 2. A splendid race. AVon by half a length. Tokomaru Handicap.—AVilson 1, Pincpinetekura 2, Malcolm 3. Pinepinetekura led for the greater part of the distance, when AVilson came with a well-timed run, and won by a neck.
