ILLICIT STILL CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, last night. The illicit still case at Coromandel was adjourned till Tuesday. The three accused were liberated on bail, in two bonds of .£3O each and .£IOO each in their own recognisances. MUNICIPALISING THE FERRY SERVICES. The City and Borough Councils on both sides of the harbor are taking action to control the ferry service, under powers conferred by the new Municipal Corporation Act. A conference was held to-day, aud resolved to recommend the incoming Councils to .appoint a provisional committee to frame bye-laws for the regulation of tho ferry service.
