COAST CIRCUIT.
At Awanui on Tuesday’, Mr W. A. Barton, S.M., held a sitting of the Court, the following business being transacted Criminal Cases. Two Native youths were charged with the larceny of two pairs of boots, and, pleading guilty, were sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment, with hard labour. An elderly Native, for indency, was convicted, and sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment. A charge against a Native, for ill-treat-ing a cow, was adjourned until the next sitting of the Court. For drunkenness a first offender was convicted and. discharged. Civil Cases. At Tolago Bay yesterday, before Mr J. F. Pettie, J.P., a Native named Maitai was charged with the larceny of a pair of trousers, and was remanded until Saturday, to be dealt with by the Stipendiary Magistrate, Mr W> A. Barton,
