DUNEDIN TRAMWAY COMPANY.
TO BE TAKEN OVER BY CITY COUNCIL. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Dunedin, last night. The City Council will formally fake over the tramways from the City and Suburban Company on Thursday, anl in the afternoon all the available cars will be thrown open free to the public. The question of wages and hours of employees is to be at qnce considered. The Tramway Committee recommend the Council to get from the ’General Manager a report on the hours and salaries' with a view to' favorably con; sidering ihoroasc in the wages.
