THE NEW VICTORIAN LOAN, INDUCEMENT TO HOLDERS OF 4 PER cent; STOCK. WOOL—IMPROVEMENTS IN PRICE By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, March 14. The Victorian loan prospectus invites holders of four per cent, stock, redeemable in July, to exchange for threes, receiving L 6 10s cash, with full interest till July ; also a coupon for thirty shillings interest on the now stock, a final payment of 75 per cent, to bo made on Juno 10th ; a discount of 2-1 per cent, to be allowed on immediate payment in full. Tho American visible wheat supply is 19,300,000 bushels. At yesterday’s wool sales prices were fully maintained. The best crossbreds improved slightly. The Puketahi lot sold for 6d, and the Kulnino for 7%d. The lead imports last month amounted to 17,069 tons, including 4440 tons from Australia. The exports amounted lo 2795 tons.
