PROBABLE GIFT TO THE KING.

A Queensland opal, reported to be worth £50,000, is being exhibited at the Victorian Agency-General. It is stated that the owne r intends to offer it ’to the King as a contribution to his regalia in honor of tho establishment of the Australian Commonwealth.
