A dreadful boilor explosion has occurred at Chicago, completely wreck ing tho manufactory in which i occurred.

Forty operatives were buried in tho ruins.

Twelve girls, badly injured, wore extricated from tho debris.

It is believed that the remainder of the men and women wlio wore in tho building at tho time are dead.
