THIRD DRAFT OF STATIONS.

The Conference has approved of the third draft of stations. Those for Wellington district are: — Wellington, Taranaki street: Revs. W-. C. Oliver, W- J. Elliott, A. N. Scotter, H. B. Redstone, and F, ly. Isitfc (without pastoral charge). Central Mission—one wanted. Wellington South: Rev. G. Bond. Hutt: Revs. W. B. Marten, W. Kirk, and E. P. Blamires.

Greytown : Rev. F. J. Pendray. Featherston: Home missionary, Mastcrton : Rev. S. F. Prior. Naplpr; Bov, C. E. Beecroft. Hastings : Rev. J. Wrigloy. Gisborne : Rev. B. F. Rothwoll. Eketabuna: Rev. T. Trestail. Otaki: Rev. S. H. D. Peryman. Dannevirko : Rev. G. S. Cook. Waipawa : Row W. S. Bowie. . Woodville : llcv. G. Hannsell. Pahiatua: Rea-. W. G. Thomas. Ormondville; Home missionary. A discussion took place with reference' to the proposed appointment of an assistant to the Rev. W. Gjttos, ha Maori work, Although £IOO has been guaranteed in Auckland, a pi-oposal to anake the appointment at once and trust that another £IOO would be guaranteed in other parts of the' colony, was negatived. At this juncture the Rev. W. Gittos offered to guarantee the amount, and then

it was resolved to recommend the Pastoral Session that the Rev. D. Weatherall be appointed as Maori aoaissionary, aud a suitable minister to supply his place at the Upper Thames. The Conference concluded its sittings to-night. A resolution was passed recommending the introduction into Parliament of a Bill to decide by referendum whether it is the wish of the people that there should be daily Bible-reading in schools.
