At tho Wesleyan Conference the bal-ance-sheet of the Home Missions and Church Extension Fund showed receipts .£2780, expenditure .£0283 ; estimated receipts for the current year JE2590, estimated expenditure .£3026. It was resolved that the committee of the Century Fund be recommended to vote .£2OO to this fund.

The Conference passed a resolution protesting against any attempt to Icgaliso tho sale of liquor in the King Country. At the evening session tho Wesleyan returns showed that there were 297 churches, with 449 other preaching places, 122 ministers, 585 local preachers, 2258 Sunday-school touchers, and 70,402 attendants on public worship in Wesleyan Churches in Now Zealand.
