A QUESTION.
(To the Editor Gisborne Tores-) Sir, —Would some of the scientific readers of youir' valued paper answer the following question, viz : How many cubic feet of metal there are in a heap of stones, having a level top 26ft long and 4ft 6in wide, resting'upon a surface sloping crossways underneath so that the two upper corners are 2ft 6in deep and the lower 3ft deep, the sides and ends making an angle of 45 degrees with the horizon.—l am, etc., A PcZZhED Stone-knapper,
