CYCLING.

The track is in first-class order for to-day’s meeting. Tho “ big guns ” are all in fine fettle, and should win to-day. Tho first race takes place at 1.15. Dogs will not be allowed on the grounds —any that may get in will be impounded. Smith, of Hastings, will also bo a nonstarter, having missed the boat at Napier. Thatcher, of Hauiti, who had not intended to rido, lias now made up his mind to do so.

The booths are being conducted by the Club, refreshments being dispensed at town prices.
