Beauchamp won tho Albury Mile in 1.58 and 8-sths, which is the world’s competition' record. McDonald previously won his heat in 1.59.

In the Intornations’ contests, Green and Megson, representing England, beat W. Martin, and Ivor Lawson, tho Americans, by 19.1 to 181 points. The Wheel Race, for .£IOO prize, resulted in favor oi! Tucker, who had 16yds, Gudgeon (160yds) being second, and Lawson (scr), third.

The Three-mile Scratch Race resulted in McDonald being first, Lawson second, Motion third.
