LIMIT FIXED AT 99.

Sydney, Feb. 23. Sir William Lyne states that hr regard to the Treasury bills, part of the four million authorised by Parliament the session before last, of which a million and a half have already been placed locally, ho has fixed the limit at 99.

London, Fob. 23. New South Wales has placed one million four per cent Treasury bills with a currency of four years on the London
market. The price fixed for the New South Wales Treasury bills was 99. The Daily Chronicle complains that there was a holo and corner issue to a few privileged alloters, now asking 99J.
