DISMAL OUTLOOK. PITIFUL STATE OF AFFAIRS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrightt Brisbane, Feb. 22. The Inspector, reporting on tho Mara* noa district, says that tho state of tho country is beyond words. There is no sign of feed on tho large stations, onlv two or three horses being left.
A few head of stock arc kept alive by felling scrub. Tho whole country is a great dust heap. The outlook is most dismal.
