STOCK SALES.

At Rcpongaere yesterday Messrs Williams and Kettle submitted a large quantity of Mr W. K, Chambers’ stock of sheep and cattlo. Forty-five mixed steers, 18 months to 2$ years, were passed at -S3 17s 6d, but were afterwards sold to Mr A, Hood at £4, who also secured 20 2-year steers at T 4 2s 6d.
